Usually coiled wire material is used on the formers. Coiled material is bundled with steel bands, and whenever cutting this steel band, spring back causes bundled material gets burst all at once, and it is very dangerous to operator. Especially, it is high risk to cause serious injury to operator on the large size machine.
In order to make safer operation, we have a coil binder unit for the new machine, and based on this unit, currently we, SAKAMURA, are focusing on development of retrofittable coil binder unit for existing machines.

Cutting steel band safely by holding coiled material in order not to burst
1．Loading the coiled material on to wire straightening unit.
2．Cylinder starts up and coil binder stand up vertically.
3．Holding material with coil binder, and then cutting steel bands.
4．Coil binder gets back to home position and coiled material can expand slowly.
